I have had mine for a year and they have done very well. They also work well in heavy rainstorms. The only draw back is I have the original tires in my garage with less than 100 miles on them.
Check the indexing on your door. Does the window roll down slightly when you open it, and then go back up when you close it. If it's not working I could see it causing the pressure difference.
That's an interesting thought, as the windows indexing happens when you open and then close the door. If it's not working properly it might cause a bit of a pressure difference which might suck trunk down enough to lock it without it being completely closed. I will have to see what happens if...
Easiest is to either hit it twice or make sure your remote is in reach if you have to hit it again.
I can hear release thunk inside car with door closed. You still hear trunk release even when it doesn't open it all the way.
Sometimes the trunk release in my door doesn't always release the trunk completely. The trunk is slightly popped up but nor unlocked. It will unlock on the second hit of the button. Most of the time it works on the first press. I have noticed that it tends to not open all the way if I don't...
You should really do the service at least once a year, especially if is the first service, so they can get the original oil out of it, and make sure everything else they check is ok.
The SXM is much louder than any of the other sources. I usually do a volume mark of 3 tick mark with SXM. All the other sources, including stored on the hard drive in the car have to be turned up almost half way to get a good volume level on them. I couple of times I accidently switched...
I had the automatic breaking kick in when I didn't need it too. the one road through our downtown has a speed limit of 25. I usually set the cruise at 27 (The speedo on this car and most BMW's read about 2 miles faster than you are really going.) There is a slight curve in the road, and the...
I own a BMW and I have never seen a non BMW being serviced by a BMW dealer. I don't think they would want to work on the car even if it is BMW on the inside. I lucked out with my Toyota dealer. They have two techs that are certified to work on the Supra. They also sell a lot of used cars...
That sucks, at least they gave you a loaner. Hopefully as Toyota sells more of the Supra, more of the dealers will figure out how to get the service done right.
Years ago I had problems like that with a Honda dealer when I had a Delsol. The car had issues where after about 2 years they had to...
I did mine after a year at 2500 miles. Since it's the original oil, I decided to do year change, and it's free for the first two years. I also have a BMW and change the oil every year regardless of how few miles I put on it. I would go ahead and do it, just make sure the dealer knows what...
I had mine out a few times in the winter with all season tires. It drove fine. I did not take it out in the snow. I did make the mistake of taking it out a few days after it had snow and the snow had melted. There was road salt residue on the lower half of the car. I have the dark blue...
I had other issues when I bought my Supra last year. A week after I could glance at the car at the Chicago auto show were they didn't have a floor model to get close too, I went to a dealer about 15 miles away I was a big Toyota dealer so I expected them to know something about them. I went...
The 5000 is a mistake on the service info, its supposed to be 1 year or 10000 miles. The cars service interval is correctly listed on the info screen.
I just had my first years free service this month, everything went fine. I'm surprised how much they charge in the UK.
I can't help with the winter tires, as I only planned on using the all seasons. Most likely you have to change the wheel for winter tires. I have the OEM Michelin tires sitting in the garage, hoping at some point I can sell them.
