Well, I have to face reality. I’m not gonna be a Supra owner. The price of admission is too high. I’ve enjoyed participating here. Its more likely that I’ll be buying a GR86. Not that that’s a bad thing. Besides, I’ll be able to row my own gears.? San Diego Dudes, if a guy in a red GR86 says...
This is weird. If I click on your link, it takes me to the 2022, but if I go to Toyota.com, it only shows the 2021. Also, it looks like they’re going to sit on the GR86 until it hatches. The 2020 is still on there.
I had that same test drive BS earlier this spring with a 2021 Honda Civic Type R. Two separate dealers refused to let me test drive one. You can’t drive it unless you plan to buy it. I said, so you think I’m just gonna write you a check for $40k without even driving it? What if I don’t like it...
Michael Toyota in Fresno, CA currently has a 2022 Supra 2.0 on their website for
$57,490. I checked 3 times to make sure it wasn’t actually a 3.0. That’s just horrible! I hope no one buys it? They have the window sticker posted, but not a supplemental sticker for the mark up.
They are coming in, but slowly. Check Autotrader and Cars.com. I think its gonna be hard to find a good deal until stock numbers increase. Toyota announced they are cutting production 40% this month. If you can, you might want to wait until October at the soonest.
At least you weren’t in the showroom. The local dealer let me sit in it. Getting in wasn’t the problem, getting out was. I ended up on my hands and knees on the floor. Luckily, no one was around, as far as I know.
