I recently read that most people who buy them don’t actually use them. The dealer makes money selling them. I’ve had many Toyotas and none of them have ever needed major repairs.
These air vents are a cool feature. The Z is also getting a 12.3” digital instrument panel, vs. the Supra 8.8”. Still not enough to steer me towards the Z. Toyota brand loyalty here.
Slightly off topic, but why aren’t more car makers putting speakers in the headrests, like Bose does for the Miata, and the Corvette, and other cars. Why do they insist on sticking with JBL? I’ve replaced factory speakers in 3 of my Toyotas.
I just saw the pics. I couldn’t sit in that. It would hurt my eyes. Like the all red interior of the last gen Civic Type R. And those outer door handles are weird.
Make sure the Navigation maps are up-to-date. One of the reasons I bought my Prius was for the Nav. It would have cost $300 to update, so I just use my phone. See if they have service history available. 2 small things, but good to know.
Mossy Toyota in San Diego has a red 3.0.
I called them 45 days ago to schedule a test drive. They said it was on hold for a customer. When the cast comes off my foot in 3 weeks, I’d like to test drive it. Or am I wasting my time with them?
