I was searching for this exact thread! Just went to go see the Supra at the dealership and it had 23kms on it and I was like uh what's that all from!

I had to look up EMS, I hadn't heard of that delivery service! It could also be that Canada has its own set of import rules different from the US. We get taxed on everything, government has their fingers in it all! Saw the pic of yours, they look good! Even more excited to get mine in now!

When I was sent the request from DHL for import duties/taxes, I was wondering if you guys had the same thing and just weren't mentioning it. Now I know it's just for Canadian orders it seems, maybe revenge for some bad poutine or a beaver attack........

I had to pay another $84.19 CAD for import duty/tax.

Ordered March 4, received DHL receipt on the 6th, March 11th received another receipt from DHL stating it will be delivered on the 16th. Had to pay duty charges today to DHL, package coming from Taiwan, still set to be delivered on the 16th.

Mine finally arrived at the dealership last week and they're storing it for me till I'm ready to pick it up. Going to wait for a few good rainfalls to clear the roads of salt.

To stop people asking for a ride on motorbikes, we would just remove the passenger pegs and use that as an excuse for no passengers. Could you not just remove the passenger seat and use that as an excuse? Not sure how easy it is to remove a Supra passenger seat.........
