This quote resonates with me. My last 2 cars before the Supra never felt fulfilling (Genesis G80 5.0 and G70 3.3T). Prior to the Boopra, the last car I felt connected with was my 87 Trans AM 455 swap and before that a 87 Buick GN.
The new M2/3/4 are amazing cars, with a fantastic drivetrain and...
Since my last post I’ve driven exclusively with the TC off (single click) and I’ve had zero issues. Surprisingly I actually enjoy driving with TC off, the car seems much more manageable and easier to predict. With TC on, I always felt a little uneasy about losing the rear end. Weird.
Well found this thread after this started happening to me in my 22’ 3.0. Just 2x so far at about 2k miles. 10min into drive, 95F, car very warmed up. No incline, no water.
First time I thought maybe I spun tires and didn’t even notice it? I jolted a little bit after the long pause.
Second time...
Yeah, this is a big way. I respect the performance in trained hands but seeing a current or recent gen mustang is like seeing street lights. I have a strong suspicion that a FBO Supra will quite handedly smash a FBO Dark Horse in a line and on a track. As long as Pure 800 is considered a bolt on...
Weird thought.. Could I mount the stock rear tires (only 1k miles) to the front and buy some 295s for the rear or would there be rubbing? I'd imagine the traction and handling would be great?
While not a true ECU tune. The BMS jb4 piggyback tune is the bandaid most people have chosen to apply while the ECU Unlocking gets sorted. Some people even prefer it for the ease of changing MAPs and removal.
Yeah, some sound dampening would be helpful, atleast for the trunk. I know your build used a good bit, and i like the ported solution you came up with.
I'm wanting to stay very stock overall hence an enclosed slim woofer. The lower end is just kinda missing. Best I've come up with is a small...
Sorry to resurrect an older thread. Regarding your amplifier placement:
I want to add a super slim 10" amplified woofer behind the passenger seat. Seems to be just enough room. Any concerns with drilling behind the seat for the screw placements? Paranoid about hitting a gas tank or something...
