The number 2 seat at Red Bull has always been a tough place to be. Whoever gets in the car as a number 2 driver will have similar results. If you look through their history you’ll see about the same thing has happened with several drivers.
I read Mark Webber’s book and in it he stated that...
I think a lot of people like him for his personality, he did have a very strong career in my opinion but right now with only 20 seats available (we could use 2 more teams) he might be out, however I’m hearing that AT is sticking with Yuki and Danial, which leaves Lawson out, who just might be...
Haha, my prediction was a tongue in cheek joke about the circumstances around crash-gate which go Alonzo a win at this same circuit.
Frankly I wonder too, I mean I know that big Stroll owns the team but there are other investors and sponsors that have a say in what’s happening. I’m not sure if...
I don’t know, the Red Bulls looked down on pace and slightly out of sync. If they can figure it out, Max might get the win, but at this point it looks like he’ll need some luck.
I’m thinking we might see Sainz, Russell and Norris on the podium tomorrow.
Anyone got a prediction for this weekend?
how about an aggressive pit strategy from Aston Martin for Alonzo, Stroll crashes to bring out a safety car at the right time, Alonzo wins his first race for Aston Martin!
Well it could happen right?
he might get bored like Danny said, maybe have a “Casey Stoner like“ career where he develops into the top driver, (rider) then after some championships he dips out. Also success leaves clues, the engineers at the other teams are watching Red Bull with a close eye, poaching their engineers, and...
No disrespect to Sebastian Vettel but it’s better that the consecutive win record goes to one of the great drivers, I’m not sure I put Seb in the same group as Max, Lewis, Senna, JMF, or Michael.
My wife and I have a bet every race weekend, we each pick the top five finishers and sometimes a wildcard. Winner gets to pick a restaurant and the looser has to pay. Well we have a joint account and all, but you get the picture.
I’ll second this, the subscription is well worth it. Between Peacock for Indy and motocross and F1TV for F1 I’ve cancelled my cable and I’m ahead.
has nothing to do with Abu Dhabi, is Massa being a whiny b….
I think they should hear the case, then disqualify Alonzo and bump everyone else up one slot. Would Massa be happy then? :)
Anyone following the Felipe Massa law suit thing?
I didn’t mind Massa before but right now he’s looking like the poster child for short man’s syndrome. Shoot he drove off with the stinking fuel hose attached!!
Hamilton and Ocon are exceptions as drivers how made it to F1 without coming from millions, so it can happen but it’s rare.
Also, go back 15 years as ColonalAdama said and F1 just wasn’t as big in the states, so a quick kid might look at NASCAR as a place to make a living rather than F1.
Yea, I have no idea what’s going on a Ferrari. Maybe they should break their bank and hire Hanna Schmidt away from RB, she never seems to get a call wrong.
Albon already had that seat and was moved along. It’s tough to have a team with 2 top drivers, stuff goes downhill fast. It’s normal for a team to have a number one driver and a number 2 driver.
Similar to the Ferrari the Haas tends to qualify better than race. With that said Haas has made great strides this year and hopefully gets into the points.
