An old friend recently gave me some insight and I will never purchase one.
I recently purchased an F250 that was almost out of factory warranty. The salesman was an old buddy of mine, and he kept pushing for the warranty despite me declining. Once I got home, I decided to ask him what the deal...
I sold 2 500whp evos about 6 months ago to buy a charger hellcat. The hellcat was fun but I just didn’t enjoy driving it as much as other cars I’ve had. Got rid of the hellcat to pick up the supra! I have a long list of other cars before then but not going to list every one.
Personally I pass on extended warranty on a new car. You can purchase 3rd party warranties at any time if that’s what you want to do. Just know that extended warranties can and usually do have more exclusions than the factory warranty.
Courvelle Toyota in Louisiana that was willing to sell me a premium white pearl at 1000 off msrp, but I passed to buy a launch edition at sticker price.
In the pic I posted it looks like there are a few spots in the lower quarter, but let me get it to my shop and check it under some good lights before I say that for sure. It’s probably just the picture.
I just noticed the door garnish yesterday, and it’s the same on both sides. My guess is...
If both of your Nav and telematics systems are working correctly, try registering a completely new account under a different email. It worked instantly for me after doing so. Mine was stuck as well and it won’t change. It should work within a few minutes to a couple of hours at most.
Noticed it today while trying to get hard water spots out :(
I refinish for a living, I will likely be ripping these off and respraying.
If you have a launch edition, the mirrors are also see thru.
This is going to be the same across the board on ALL black models. Checked out another black...
That really, really sucks to hear! I hope you get it sorted out or Toyota replaces your car with an equivalent launch edition!
I would assume that you’ve tried a few different dealerships? The process was very easy where I went.
Update for you guys.
I went to a local dealer today and got to talk with the tech. The code is sent to a dealer through a program and not via email, this is why those of us who have attempted to get a code ourselves are not getting one. The cable used is an OBD to Ethernet cable and the program...
lol, it’s funny you mention Rolex, as I’ve owned a few. The difference here is that you will never ever sell that duckbill used for any more than half of what you paid for. Rolexes on the other hand..... gain value with time. I paid $8,500 for a Rolex submariner and traded it for a running and...
You guys are going to end up spending as much on carbon accessories as you did for the car! I think these parts are really nice, but the slight difference between TRD and Rexspeed just doesn’t justify the large price difference.
Which cameras? The reverse camera? That and the sensors seem to work fine. I cannot get the supra connect app, navigation, or safety connect to activate. Aside from those things I think everything works
I should have had my code hours ago, so I’m going to go ahead and assume I won’t be sent one and plan to head to the nearest dealer within the next couple of weeks.
I’ve got almost 200 miles and no signs of “transport mode”, is there any way I can check for that?
I feel the same as you guys, no way in heck I’m leaving my car at the dealership over the weekend!
Hey guys, new launch edition owner here. I drove 2 hours away to take delivery of my car. The dealer knew I was coming for a few days and still didn’t have the car washed and ready for pickup, muchless the navigation activated.
With that said, nothing works for me. The supra connect app does...
