After a dealer visit for the brake recall, I finally got a new pair of PSS rear tires after 16000 miles plus few track days. Car is bone stock, bench unlocked recently and flashed with BM3 91 OTS map. Added a little octane booster.
After some practice, the result is pretty consistent around...
I will go get a dyno probably later this month. I am using regular 91 map right now...maybe more power than acn91 map. Still learning how to do logging! My phone with the bootmod agent app is very buggy... Always disconnect me when blogging
Anyways, my butt dyno told me the tune is working. I could feel every gear was pulling harder...but my 0-60 got worse due to traction. My brand new PSS could handle the increased torque. Still learning how to launch better.
Some updates! Again, BM3's customer service is top notch. Issued me a ticket for the regular 91 map. So, the rom version of my 2021 supra is not currently supported by MultiMap Stage 1 map. They are working on it but no ETA yet.
Thank you for clarifying! Yes, i am sure I got the right tune. I just reflashed ecu again by using my phone. The buttons for the map switching is not responding...anyone here who has the early 2021 and tried the new map?
I just flashed the 91 multimap...it shows successful but the map switching function is not working. So I have no clue which map I am using....tried either pressing Resume button or Cruise Down Key...No response at all..
Emailed the customer service to see what your words are. Their customer...
I only drive on sport mode with traction completely off on the road. Never had any issues from standing still. The rear always screaming and fighting for the traction when flooring from 900 rpm. Maybe Arizona never gets too cold. Hit 4.4 from 0-60 on dragy consistently with no launch control...
On my last track day, the head coach drove my car and actually comment on the steering wheel and throttle that are too sensitive comparing to his 2017 911.
Personally, i still feel my old frs has better steering feel and more weight.
6000 miles in 6 months. Has low oil warning at 5100 miles right before the first oil change. Other than that has been flawless. 4 track days, beat on it pretty hard.
Oh No...That's really awful your father-in-Law has such condition at a young age. Hope you guys stay strong and positive!
Have a fun Sunday! I won't be able to make it but happy to see the Supra community getting more members. I think this car is worth every penny. Four track days already...
Sorry to hear that! Hope your family are all okay! Qingqing Yellow supra here, just saw this post and wanna say hi to the supra family in AZ. In Inde right now, and had a blast on Friday open trackday. John gave me a ride driving his 911 and my supra. Realized that driver is way more important...
Here is my story. 2021 user, 5 months 5150 miles so far. I already had two track days, one in Feb and one last Saturday. Checked the engine oil before the second track day. Oil level was at the maximum.
So, few days after the second track day, I want to do the first service and the first free...
I feel you man! It really sucks. I think you can at least ask the dealer to discount the price a little or take off the price of the spoiler. The dealer will make money from your order anyway. It is about making things right for a good customer.
