Nothing crazy here, but wrapped the rear deflectors. Got a satin black wrap on Amazon for $7.99 versus paying $120 for the ind distribution replacement mesh thing. Took less than 20 minutes too. The color match looks closer in real life than in the photo
So, because the inlet is 3 inches on this while stock is 2.5...it could still be welded on somehow, right? I assume an exhaust shop or fabricator could make it work
I don't know, it may have just needed more time or a hot glue gun. Kind of awkward trying to hold it in place with pliers and not move while glue sets. I may just leave it alone since the mesh problem isn't really visible until you get close up. I feel like I would accidentally destroy the CF...
Mine did this crap too...tried to be ghetto and grab it with needle nose pliers while simultaneously super glueing it back, didn't work. I really don't want to take it off to "re-mesh" it because the flimsy CF might crack, and the 3M adhesive most likely won't re-stick. Any ideas bois??
