There’s a lot of good options for 8”. Honestly the Steven audio 8” mb8 are a great speaker for a great value. You will definitely need the tuning part because the 4” speakers up front Do Not cut it. You need the time alignment to setup your staging. Believe me. I have 2 tunes on my car. 1...

I would honestly stick w 8” mid bass for rear. More cone area I believe. But yes you can do that. You just gotta be creative w tuning to get your staging correct. I would pay for that part actually

Honestly. Metal has done it best. But I’m running all audiofrog up front. 4” and 1” components. Active. Then 4” rear fill. AF the difference is the Audio Development 8” mid bass. And the tuning that brings it all together. For the sub. 10” AF GB10. Which is absolutely incredible All...

The problem is the 4” speakers your using. That’s no where near enough to bridge the frequencies from mid range to sub bass. A few of us have had this problem. The ultimate solution is 6.5” door pods. But expensive. Is it possible to add 8” mid bass speakers back behind u again.
