Always suspension, brakes and aero before power.
im still running toyota tuning and really dont see a need for more power yet. Well you can always have more power but its really not needed these can cars can be set up to get very quick lap times with stock power
Do you still have stock caster?
my 23 MT had a slight pull left which was very annoying when i changed it to 8 deg now back at 7.5 it is only just noticeable. your caster bushings could be flogged out.
You will need coils + cancellers and lower control arms front, New brake fluid and pads + lines if you want to send this car properly and then rabbit hole starts to get deeeeeeeeeep!

Righto I've had the chance to look at the ohlins and how they need to be located for use with after market swaybar links. As stated by someone else you need to have the J shaped link mount on the ohlins strut at the 10 o'clock position on R front and 2 o'clock on the L front this should give...
The orange collar in the knuckle is what you spin around to adjust ride height but you will have to loosen the bolt that crimps the shock bottom in place to move this collar, it will be stiff and tight. There is not much height adjustment compared to the average coilover ie you can not dump the...
The problem is ohlins want you to have the sticker facing the brake callipers so you do that, everything looks good, you put car on the ground and check clearances and it doesn't look to bad but it is very hard to see up into the link shock mount and thats where the issue is if they had a...
The shock body is part of the problem but i installed as per Ohlins requirements. I did have another look the other day and believe if you are using a sway bar link that has a thicker shaft then stock you need to rotate the shock body further around to allow more clearance for the thicker link...
Ha i think we are talking about 2 different things. I am talking about washers or spacers for the sway bar link so there is no contact with the J shaped mounting point on the road and track coilovers on the front suspension
Gday,
Has there been any solution to the non compatibility of ohlins R&T and SPL sway bar links?, i just put mine on looked fine then when checking for any contact i bent both SPL links. I was thinking a spacer would work but unsure if this would change the angle to much and create more issues...
