They got rid of the regular production digital dashboard screens? That's the biggest improvement of all! :rolleyes1:
It does look very cool though!
The increased push towards OTA updates for these 2024+ Mustangs on the other hand is not a positive selling point. Ford is very interested in...
The Brembo brake package (and Sachs dampers) should have been an option available at launch. The 3rd generation car will be somewhat different but sounds like it will be a hell of a driving machine in its own right.

For the final model year of the MKV I hope they end up doing *something* unique with meaningful mechanical changes under the hood. It won't matter what trim level those improvements would be labeled under so long as the driveline gets one more push before we get to Gen 6.
^^ Fair point there. It does look more mature and is a very nice looking sedan.
I still can't think of it as a true "Integra" but a very nice high performance Acura sedan it certainly is.
^^ If only they would build it in a regular production version looking almost exactly like this.
Hyundai reps have stated that due to positive response they will actually produce the car... but only in a pricey very low volume version.
^^ This.
A manual Supra MKV was intended/planned all along... but just not until a couple of model years after release as a way to keep sales and interest up rather than give every option everyone wants up front but with few to no updates or big changes for the entire model run.
They didn't...
^^ The best part: The Performance Package for the 2024 GR86 will be possible to order after the fact and retrofit at your dealer into any 2022 or 2023 GR86 with the 18" Premium wheels.
Apart from a real external oil cooler from the factory (which it still doesn't get) this is what was missing...
Exactly. I am not so sure that Toyoda will be pushed out of his chairman position at this time. At the very least he'll still be heavily involved in the GR division's efforts in both production and motorsport. That's his baby after all.
Toyota Motor as a whole is 100% realizing they have to do...
This might not be a good development for Akio Toyoda... : /
They might be pursuing hybrids in the immediate but my impression has been that a lot of new Toyota and Lexus models are being designed as EVs already? The exceptions being GR models (hybrids) and some heavy duty models and H2 fuel...
Also we still don't know for sure how this owner handled the first 1,000 mile break in (it has been suggested that he didn't do much more than drive it hard right away but that can't be confirmed). Also how he drove it for that first 19,000 miles.
When I look at the track video where the...
I mean don’t get me wrong… I love the G16E-GTS. I love its use in the Yaris and Corolla and soon the 3rd generation GR86.
And I am expecting a new Celica that will be 100% EV. I don’t dislike what the GR and Lexus divisions have in store for EV offerings in coming years. Far more compelling...
I am here just thinking out loud with NO insider info at all but.... even with the short timeframe between now and 2035 when internal combustion will be niche if at all sold any longer in *new* cars...
....Toyota GR invested a lot into developing that G16E-GTS 1.6L Turbo engine used in the GR...
Of the current 100% EVs on sale below hypercars such as a Rimac just the Porsche Taycan interests me. They seem to have a better handle on battery pack management than Tesla does.
Besides that I haven't been able to stand Musk for years and even more so now. Tesla cars aren't driver oriented...
^^ The owner reportedly had already put about 19,000 miles on the car prior to this happening. Anything is possible but I'd guess that if no proper break in were performed he might have issues with it before this.
New 5W-30 engine oil (allowed according to the FSM) and filter were put in just...
