BTW this explanation is misleading. SIngle stage means no control over the speed of extend of airbag explosion. Dual stage means there is a small motor/sensor that controls how far the airbag should go when deployed. Both airbag was used in BMWs, only newer and higher-end models have dual stage...

I would eventually order the right one. I pretty much got a 50% refund for this from ModAura.

The seller said that they sent me the wrong airbag since in some regions Supra does come with single stage airbags from factory.. so I would assume that they do have the dual stage airbags. Just need to specify that when ordering.

wheel is also here from ModAura. Will post another thread once I put some rubber on and maybe test it on track.

You are right that it is a single stage airbag, and OEM uses dual stage. I didn't do much research before buying so I think part of the responsibility was on me. The seller is a Chinese factory and they ship worldwide, and I believe they told me some parts of the world's Supra uses single stage...
