I haven’t put ppf on my car I instead went for Gyeon Ceramic matte coating and a set of Zl1 addon rockguards. The result I have a few small chips but I have seen some ppf jobs wreck the car paintwork. I don’t intend to sell anytime soon however love the car too much.
I started to notice some stone chips on the back of the wheel arches and purchased a set of the ZL1 addons. I don’t think Toyota has sold as many as they would have liked in the U.K. Definitely not all 300 they had reserved last year.
Effectively with there only being 24 in the U.K. it’s the owners who control the resale price, if they choose to except no less than what they think the car is worth.
Facebook messaged Toyota UK today to see how they were getting on with the inlays and certs and got a fairly positive reply we shall see what comes from it :rolleyes1:
Absolutely in the same boat. I so want the extra power and better sound but don’t want to mess with the warranty especially with it still being a relatively new car.
Have you contacted Toyota recently? I was thinking about phoning again. No one really seems to know much tho, you wouldn’t believe this cars been out for 8 months already and there clueless.
I had a serious grinding and squealing noise today had to pull over and call breakdown. Typical went to move it after to a space and they eased off. Will be Garage tomorrow for a check over.
