  1. Mazda RX-VISION Rotary Sports Car Concept

Mazda is not bring back anything: "Mazda CEO Masamichi Kogai confirmed that the company has no plans to build a sports car larger than the Miata, effectively dashing hopes for the RX-9" As for Mitsubishi... where have you been if not planet earth? They stopped existing last year. Nissan bought...
  2. BMW model codes include Supra (J29) with auto transmission, 4 and 6 cylinder engines

The 718 s is like 345 at the WHEELS, porsche always quoted proper horsepower. It also weighs as much as a Styrofoam plate. No really it weighs a 3100 lbs. That's super light. That's BRZ light, except with actual horsepower. But with all that said, people buy a porsche because it's a porsche...
  3. BMW model codes include Supra (J29) with auto transmission, 4 and 6 cylinder engines

I'm sure they do Well. At least I hope they do. The entire scion brand really let us know how clueless they can be.
  4. BMW model codes include Supra (J29) with auto transmission, 4 and 6 cylinder engines

I'd like to point out that auto also applies to DCT which is an automated clutch even if manually operated. That being said, If true the top model only has 300 HP for the price of a 650hp camaro zl1 that would be a hard pass. He'll used GTRs sit under 60k.
  5. 2020 Supra Transmission Chat - Manual, Dual Clutch, or Auto?

I can't say yet, I just hope it isn't gutless. I've never had a DCT before, so I'd be interested in that even with all the internet hate. Manual transmissions stop being fun and can fuck themselves once you hit heavily congested stop and go traffic.
  6. If not the New Supra, then what?

2018 mustang GT has 460 horsepower... damn that's a bargain. That's better then the outgoing shelby
  7. Why I'm NOT Hyped About The New Toyota Supra

    Yes. DCT most likely.
  8. If not the New Supra, then what?

Yeah I hear yeah. Honestly even with my money saved my chances of getting a GT4 will be slim to none since current owners get asked first and I've never owned a new Porsche.
  9. If not the New Supra, then what?

As the title states: When the Supra comes out what else would you be looking at to compare this too? Personally my fiance and I are looking at the up and coming porsche GT4 that will probably release late 2018/early 2019. We already have our pennies saved and the Supra will be in the same...
  10. Lets talk about a side air vent/scoop/intake

With the price of this car to be speculated at, I'd rather whatever amount of vents needed that are not fake. The most recent fake offender would be the Honda type R and most the entire front of the new NSX. In fact, I don't know how we got to an era where every car has fake vents and ducts...
  11. New rumors from C&D: 2020 Supra to get BMW inline six engine / B58 & S58 chat

Hybrid and battery technology is EXPENSIVE though - and seeing how *if* there even is a 4 cycle option, I very much doubt they would to want to increase its manufacturing cost beyond what a simple tried and true i6, v6, would cost. Also in terms of performance... just look at the I'll fated...
  12. Mazda RX-VISION Rotary Sports Car Concept

Mazda already said there is no and will be no high performance model in the foreseeable future. Specifically they want to grow first and make cash. Autonews: No plans for a larger sports car entry? Mazda CEO Masamichi Kogai: No...
  13. New Toyota Supra rumored to get Toyota twin turbo V6 engine

I had to create an account just to refute this contradicting article. This car has already been stated to cost at the least $60k USD from Toyota itself and yet will start with a 240hp 4 banger and weigh 3300lbs? That would make most econo boxes faster in a straight line. Even Toyota's own 86...
