Go pure 850 and call it a day. Speaking from experience but anything more than that and you’re on borrowed time. It may not blow immediately but you’re gonna be deep into it and batting well outside of trying to beat a corvette.
On a base map it was just past 900 whp. We turned up the boost for this pass and ran a blend of meth/e85. If I had to guess it was around 1000 whp. Felt like a solid 8 second pass
Had to teach the gf how to change settings. Next run was a little better but she was too far away and a lot of background noise lol
P.S…. And I blew up my motor lol
Update: Engine build is done. Going back into the car next week and then it’s going through it’s break-in/shake down process. Hoping to get some new times in the next month
I just did this to counter it. Now when someone says something I can laugh hysterically and be like “ I haven’t heard that one” and then slowly pass them
Personally I feel like people are going stroker because it’s the norm with other builds. This car just seems happier on non-stroked setups. I mean hell, I was making pass after pass making 1k hp and it wanted more until the bottom end gave out. Now it’s going to be a test as too how far I can...
And the new and improved 3.0 build begins. Could go stroker but I’m thoroughly impressed with the stock displacement. Also beginning the process of gutting the car while the motor is out. New goal is to run 8s on no-prep events. A lot of suspension and safety work is ahead…
