Really putting my memory to a test. I was driving, so I wouldn't hold me to it 100% but I believe it was on the starting nav screen for a few minutes after it went dark. I don't recall any kinda "update in progress" screen or anything like that.
Wish I paid better attention.
Why would the dealership care? If it's manufacturer's defect then after the sale it's the manufacturer's problem not theirs.
They'd sell you a car even if they dented/scratch it while parking.. they'd just park it close to a wall so you can't see it.. (true story from a long time ago).
Mine had to update maps once, then it restarted and became available again. Definitely couldn't do anything during the update and restart time but don't recall if I had music on or not.
Maybe something like that or some sort of derivative OTA update?
If you don't feel it, what's the point?
Personally, I like the simplicity. Sport, no sport. If there was a benefit to sport + then hell yea, sign me up! But otherwise it's an option that does the same thing as Sport? Kind of weird to me.
I imagine that there isn't going to be a straight answer. Rather it will go something like this:
1. You "customize" it > nothing goes wrong > no one will care.
2. You "customize" it > something goes wrong > dealership finds out about your "customization" > they will try to blame your problem on...
Is it set to auto? I have it on auto and there's that "medium" speed which is inadequate for any kinda heavy rain and then there's fairly fast speed where I've never had an issue with the wiper's speed in any kinda rain. It does switch on its own obviously and I never really had an issue with...
Yea it totally took my by surprise. Since I picked ground and MDW is coming up I figured I wouldn’t be seeing it til next weekend. IND did very well!
Yes, true. I tried local (NJ/NY), Henderson NV, and Daytona Beach FL zip codes. Finance offer came up in all locations. It's conceivable that it may not be available in all zip codes though but it seems to be pretty wide spread.
