you switch the JB+ to a JB4.

You got it the wrong way around. The 2020 2 port models came with higher compressions and 2021+ 6 port engines have lower compression. In either way both engines will see similar power figures from a downpipe and tune or downpipe + JB4.

I would just do the JB4 on 91 octane. With the downpipe you will still see some noticeable gains for a relatively low price.
