Patience and sitting in the sun for a few days are probably your best friend here. I’d be cautious with a heat gun; I’ve eaten a bowl of “stupid” before with overheating things and leaving a shiny witness zone. Maybe your luck is better than mine? Either way, I’d give it a couple days. Good luck!
