Nope! I actually open up the space by taking down or out the rear seats so I can use the otherwise useless trunk and useless rear seats to carry my track wheels, jack, tools, extra rotors and pads. The rest that can be bagged up go on the front seat.
If 2x2 option is not available, you cannot...
Looks like it might show its face at Detroit show this January! Some sources are speculating that Ford is targeting 24 hours of Le Mans in 2016:

With all due respect to your opinion, nostalgic, well everyone and their uncle has been there, done that! Toyota would be the last one to the table. Market for nostalgic is already saturated...
Affordable, toned down, simple? Well, why would Toyota even bother...there are already dozens...
Actually they have vastly expanded on their demographic. They were having financial difficulties in the 80's, when they realized they could increase their US market if they increase the footwell area to cater to big footed Americans who previously could not fit both feet in there to modulate...
2x2 is actually great for the track. I carry my gear in my otherwise useless rear seats. I fill up the trunk, back seats and the passenger seats with all my junk. That way you don't need a trailer.
The 911 success is due to the continued "incremental improvement" of an existing time tested and proven design over several decades. In the same fashion as with the American made version of it... Corvette. And not "reinventing" the wheel with every model.
How many times has Porsche tried to...
You can sign up to drive it around the track for a few pennies...sorry I mean a couple of ounces of gold!

I was tempted by the title, until I read the description....basically $1700 for Novice Level driving! And if you double your money, they might let you go...
Not sure if you have had the pleasure of visiting a body shop in the recent ten or twenty years, but even with metal panels, they no longer repair/Bondo anything. It's a lot cheaper to replace panels. It's the same thing with cars with plastic panels.
For now, as long as all new cars are...
I can understand why they are doing this, since more and more people are looking at GT3's as garage queens, and investments. Already the previous versions (engine and stick shift) are proving to be better than most Wall Street investment stocks, with many used ones selling higher than the...
There was a lot of hype when Laguna Seca Mustang came out, saying it'd kill everything in sight. Then I saw a Euro match up between the Laguna Seca and a mere Sedan V8 Vauxhall...the stupid Vauxhaul killed the Leguna Seca. The Leguna Seca couldn't even keep up!
For any sort of track duty, imho...
I actually love it's diversity. If they rework the nose, it'll be just a rendition of every other sport car.
I think it needs to be a trend setter, which typically takes people a while to grow use to it.
It has the F1/Enzo hints, which makes it look like the biz! Soften it up, and you grow...
I agree, a lot of people want turbo! Turbo is fun, as long as you want only an occasional fun. In my experience turbo'd engines are not very robust. Even when I watch all these super car test rides on TV, like the Audi R8 or something, they can never finish the test without any glitches or...
Yup! We have a saying, if you want the car go faster, put a faster driver behind the wheel!
Heck, at 500 Hp, I'd have to detune it "down" to be competitive at the track, unless I have $100k to sink into all the pro bits just to be able to control the car! ;)
The only thing 500Hp is good for in...
Yes, I drive an frs now. When she grows up, she is going to be GT3 RS! ;)
Used to be a 911 owner for 13 years.
I have only one Advice for people who think Hp is the cure all....invest in driving school! ;)
Bmw outsources to other economical countries.
My no 1 rule when buying a vehicle is that the vehicle has to be made in the country of origin. If Japanese, I look for a vin number that starts with J. I won't buy anything that's outsourced to another countries plants where some smart PM decides...
Well, I'm not greedy! ;) id be very happy with 375-400hp NA engine. For track duty, anything over 400 hp requires a lot of money to be able to transfer it to the pavement. That's why Corvettes last for ever on tracks...since they can't go full throttle and thus never labor the engine.
I think...
I sure hope you're right with dry sump and oil pumps! That's competing with $150k price range focused cars. I'll be really bummed if there's no non-turbo, which to me means you just threw the track duty reliability out the window. If Porsche ever gets their TT reliability right for track duty...
I'll take the dry sump if not price prohibitive. Otherwise deep sump with baffled oil pan will do. Would like high temp engine block alloy if we are dreaming too ....!
Basically I would first like it to be durable for hours on at the limit for track duty. No plastic composite impeller or...
