  1. Is it only me or others also hate these stupid cupholders in armrest?

It's Whole Lot better than one in S2000. - Anything in cupholder renders shifting gear 10 folds harder unless you can contort your arm and hand.

  6. 4 point harness questions

I've seen many track junkies but only few I felt that they need bucket seat and 5 point harness. 4 point is not worth it as you may slide through bottom. seen it and if you need anything more than 3 pt. harness (OEM), you should get 5 pt. 1. the aluminum bar is too flimsy to secure it. save...
  7. Parking After Session

once you come in after the session, you could leave automatic gear at "P" position and leave it. No Emergency brake though.. If you have to put the car /w emergency brake on, I'd wait 10~ 20 minutes at least depends on ambient temperature. But I really fail to see why would anyone need to...
  8. A90 Food and Cruise; Mitsuwa [Edgewater, NJ] (Nov. 22) @ 1PM.

i will try to make it!
  9. Don’t be a dummy like me, magnetic numbers

I've been advocating for a while as I was going to use my old magnetic number plate. only place that magnet will stick is quarter panel which is heavily concaved. all other panel including roof is either aluminum or polymer.
  10. "Tires not recognized"

For me, I did not want to spend time on this since manual mode was working perfectly fine, reading pressure and temperature.
  11. Ecu unlockable?

some tuners/end user will not be able to make change to ECU so ECU has to be sent to a tuner or shop who can unlock it. only then you can fully tune. for ECU that are later than late June 2020, even bench unlocking is not possible which causes headache for industry at this point in time. in...
  12. Ecu unlockable?

you should be able to. however, you may still need to bench unlock.
  13. My Pewter Supra Build Log

This is my impression on Cusco front sway bar. I wanted to install both, front and back, but a shop quoted me over $200 for $300 rear sway bar so I wasn't able to install it until I have a good plan and tools to do it. However, this also gave me an opportunity to test just /w front sway bar...
  14. TPMS for the Supra

yes. I think dealer may have to do something but the TPMS' I bought off the ebay, 433mhz (02) & 433+315 mhz (01). Both sensors could not be worked with automatic detection setting on tire setting section of infotainment. I think only way to get "automatic detection" to working is buying...
  15. My Supra Story!!

Congrats! you need to properly break-in breaks as well as engine. that's my opinion. Also, I do have speculation that these break rotors are a bit different compound of steel than just steel used on everyday car..
  16. TPMS for the Supra

01 has 315 mhz. I have 02 on one set and 01 on the other. bought 01 thinking that it can be used for "automatic" setting since set /w 02, i had to set it manual. turns out, none i could work with automatic setting. both works fine /w manual setting - reading pressure and temperature" and...
  17. Bad (diffrent smell) and white clouds

Blueish white smoke usually means burnt oil. I hope it is something else. Dealer usually resets the warning message and you should not get it after oil change from dealer. I think you should definitely discuss this with dealer. hope the best for you..
  18. Lower engine cover/bracing

I agree with Guff. I had to take it off to install sway bar but no suspension component is directly linked to it. Also, it needs to be removed to service anything under (except oil change) so it doesn't make sense to adjust wheel alignment every time you service anything.
