Yes in theory but there is a silent system you won't know about. The active differential which cuts power to the rear based on weather conditions. This does not flash on dash.

Could be the exhaust valve actuator opening/closing. If you see the exhaust valve fixed then assume the resonator expanding contracting which is perfectly normal. Good luck.

Doesn't happen on 2020 supra or is less the case. Sensor related on 2020 built supras.

A sensor (no idea where) is sending erroneous data to ecu causing car to go into limp mode. Now Toyota need to get off their fat a$$ and start fault finding otherwise a recall is on the cards.
