Buy a Active Autowerke catted dp and you won't have this issue. Or, do like @Mimosa and go catless with a spacer/simulator. You won't want to bother with clearing the CEL every time it pops on.

It was an app problem and, though it may not yet be resolved in the official release version found in the play/apple store, I don't imagine that it will take them long to implement the fix.

Thanks for the link @LoveSupra, my BTLD is on the "low security' list so it should be an issue with unlock. (BTLD 48DC v001_011_001)
Are you using a decent battery charger? From what I'm reading online about flashing problems usually points to the battery and/or charger. Mine seems to be able to put out 20-25 amps so I'm hesitant to condemn it.

I just picked up a '20 - non-premium w/ driver's assist and JBL for $57k. It only had 1800miles. I know the prices could drop in a year's time but I wanted to scoop up a '20 garage queen while I could.
If the key fob is completely dead, the car won't recognize a valid key fob in proximity to allow the door handle functions to work. Like Supramann15 said, the actual metal key should do the trick mechanically. It's funny that there's enough juice in the fob for the push button start to work...
