Yeah LSD should have been standard or at least an option at the very least. However, the argument of no car is 100% prefect can be made and many would probably say it would still be better getting a base Z and then installing an aftermarket LSD vs the 2.0 Supra.
And the same could be said about the 6th gen Celica and 4th gen Supra, no?
Takes one to know one :p

You do know there is a huge price differences between the two. How does a $28k car compete with a $50k+ car? That's like saying the MK4 should have been auto only because because the Celica had a manual option.
Yup, but based on that I don't think it's very likely. I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I think the audience for both cars seems to be very different. I have a feeling that a manual would be way more popular on the 3.0 Supra vs the Z4.
On a different note does anyone have break down of...
The biggest complaint that I'm seeing when it comes to the Z is that there will not be an option for LSD on the base model. I think it will cost about $2k with parts and labor to get an aftermarket one in there.
I'm not sure BMW would even want to offer a manual in the Z4. They only sold two in all of Australia. ?

The power bump everyone keeps talking about?

I had bad experience with both Toyota and independently owned body shops. My advise to everyone is take a good look at your car before you leave the shop and even before you give them a damn cent.
