I think the Supra is fine, throttle response is very decent. Maybe you can try to code in the Sport+ mode and see how it'll do for you.
I have Lexus cars, and those have horribly laggy throttle response, even their top of the line F model...
I just went with the stick on mirror covers for a few reasons below. Fitment is not the greatest but is not the worst either.
1. Very affordable, paid $40 + tax
2. I don't have to worry about breaking any tabs on the OEM caps
3. I can easily replace them if I don't like them or when they got...
If you're ok with the power, I'd get an exhaust and leave the DP alone. Some dealerships might give you troubles when you need some warranty work and they see a DP.
Also if you plan to keep your car past the 8 year mark, it'll be easier to do smog with OEM DP.
I'm planning to get these too. I have them on my Lexus GSF, mostly very quiet (random/rare squeak on hot days), very manageable dust (10% of what the Lexus OEM pads produced), and overall very decent bite (except initial bite is a little vague)
Reminds me of a friend who would purposely not close his door completely so he could show off this soft close thing, every time he gets a chance... Nah this crap doesn't belong in my car.
I could easily hear it in the video. Since the car is so new, I would take it to the dealership and see what they say. If they refuse to do any fix on it, at least you have it documented, so later on if something goes wrong with the clutch, you would have something to argue with. Toyota claims...

This is what I meant. This person mentioned that he needed a wireless module to the back of the head unit on his Base model, otherwise even the Bimmer-Remote tech couldn't get CarPlay to work...
If they insist on the pedal rubbing against the floor mat, I'd suggest you remove the floor mat, and then go into the dealership to tell them there's no floor mat to rub this time.
Did your car come with Safety & Technology package? If no, did you have to buy any BMW wireless/wifi module to plug into the back of the head unit?
Just curious as I wanna add carplay to my base model too, but don't feel like opening up the entire dash console to add the wifi module.
Yea it was also for this reason I intentionally turned off the easy entry/exit feature on my other vehicle. (I couldn't turn off the movement on the steering, so it still moves backward/forward everytime I get in/out, will see how long that motor lasts)
I owned an S2000 for a decade+, the...
Yea it engaged pretty quick from the bottom of the pedal. The first time I test drive the car, I almost stalled with the sales guy sitting right next to me. Felt slightly stupid because I just told him I had a stick shift for 15 years.
I wanna make sure I completely disengage the clutch before...
The demand is there, it was really just a supply issue. Those so-called news articles just looked at the sales number, but didn't bother to do any analysis.
