I genuinely love this car. And coming from someone who hasnāt driven a ton of sports cars, this is hands down the best one Iāve ever owned.
The styling, the factory exhaust sound, the mildly sketchy rear end when the turbo kicks ināitās all an absolute blast. Sure, Iāve got a few gripes, but...
Totally agree with i3igpete, JB4 is a much better alternative if you're worries about warranty and waaaay cheaper as you'll always see someone here sell theirs for half the cost.
A homie of mine has the Dinantronics x but he has the 2.0 Supra. He enjoys it alot.
Keep the stock airbox. I tried the CTS Turbo intake for the whoosh sounds and immediately noticed the car was acting weird. I was losing power because removing the stock airbox removes the heat shield which just caused it to suck in hot air.
In my opinion, the stock airbox is the best option...
If you want to be on the safe side, anything thats not plastic.
There are a lot of threads on which brand is better, but I've seen all do the same. Just don't go Titanium, only if you got the money IMO.
Maybe itās just me, but I personally wouldnāt buy a high-mileage sports car thatās still being sold new at dealerships. You can find them pretty much anywhere right now, so thereās no reason to settle for one with a ton of miles. The main issue is you never really know how the previous owner...
Its about a 3 and half hour drive for me as my old man loves gambling so he knows "short cuts"
lol
Just from experience I don't want to buy used anymore. Had so many problems in the past, just to save some dollars.
I dont have anyone to ship out of state.
Tell me about it.
When covid hit it took me 15 min to drive to DTLA from the Valley. When its usually 40 to an hour. smh
Alright, Iām a little embarrassed to ask this since it feels like Iām showing up late to the party, but Iāve searched around and couldnāt quite find a clear answer.
Iām based in California (so you already know where this is going š ). Getting anything thatās not CARB legal is like pulling teeth...
I mean i get the rareity of if it being a limited run, but I've been in one and it no different from a Base/Premium model. Basically the decal is all, but to to each their own.
If they got the money for it, good luck!
You should be fine, I smell it almost every time I drive. I was in your shoes too lol
took it to a Euro shop and they told me it nothing to worry about.
So I just had similar issue just this morning.
The window wont go slightly down when I open the door and stays all the way up and not letting me close the door at all. At first I thought it was the key fob cause I couldn't lock my door, but upon walking up to the car the door was ajar.
The...
idk if I'm late to this thread, but when I did get an aftermarket Cold air intake it did remove the stock heat shield. I did notice the car felt sluggish, and I was thinking that i installed the air intake wrong until the mechanics at Toyota mention im missing my heatshield. They basically...
Here My fuck up. I ended up purchasing the touch up paint from speed industry. It didn't fix shit, but hid it well that others don't even see it. Only i can see it unfortunately
