The MT Supra has a BMW/ZF transmission, it's a modified version of the one the Z4 had/has in other markets. It's not the same as the GR86's transmission.
I spent a bunch of time in one of those in the '80s as a kid! Those joystick-like things made for great fun pretending I was at the controls of a Gunstar.
The really bad thing about this is that - like YellowJacket said - this isn't a new problem. It has actually existed since the 350Z. 20 years later the car has the same damn problem.

Same, though I'm rarely on the highway. Generally only on the occasional trip to visit family in PA. Otherwise I avoid I95/I495 like the plague and take back roads.
Tesla doesn't really have dealers per se. They have some showrooms, but those don't have inventory that you can buy, they just show you the car and its features. You just order a car directly from Tesla and the price is the price.
