One more question guys…………so I just did the recall on my 2020 that has a tuneable ECU. The date is something like 10/4/19. Now that I did the recall I need to get it bench unlocked before I can tune it with MHD or Ecutek right?
I don’t track much. It would be my first time trying it actually if I get to go this year. I’m just looking for power at my disposal whenever I step on it. No problem to just use the stock map when at the track.
Great info. Thank you. I am mainly considering MHD because there are really no shops around me that tune the Supra so at least with MHD I can use the OTS maps. There are a few Ecutek shops around 2-3 hours away though and I know a few members here have used them and can recommend them.
Have you...
Yeah my JB4 is always plugged in and it’s totally fine. Do you just plug your dongle in when you drive and remove it when you need to lock up the car?
Also, let’s say I’m driving around and have the MHD plugged in, can I use the app to instantly switch maps or do I need to stop, put the car in...
Hi guys. I’m thinking of running MHD. For those of you that run MHD to tune your car, I was wondering if you always keep the wifi dongle attached to the OBD port? You would need to right so that you could change your maps on the fly? Just wondering because I saw a YouTube video where the owner...
It’s getting warmer and I’d like to attend some shows and cars and coffees so that’s good to hear she’ll be nice and shiny. Have you gotten any swirl marks or scratches since getting your car done or does it make it almost scratch proof?
I'm about to do a paint correction and a ceramic coat this Thursday. Help me set my expectations guys.........is it worth it and does the car really shine a lot more? I take pretty good care of my paint but when I installed the wing I did get some scratches I want removed and I am seeing some...
Very easy. Just put some painters tape on the bottom edge of the mirror housing to protect the paint then get a plastic trim removal tool and just pry the old mirror out. Undo the stock wiring and plug the new one back in.
Installed the Rexpeed carbon fiber door sills and side mirrors. Perfect fit on the door sills and they look great to me. The mirrors look great and really help to eliminate the blind spots but it’s gonna take getting used to. Also, on the driver side there is one wire that ends up not having any...
Sorry but I’ve never had any issues with my lights after installing it this way. If it’s flickering then goes away once the door is fully open it sounds like it’s just a connection issue possibly where you tapped into the wiring harness. What kind/size tap did you use?
