Has anybody replaced the stock ugly gray TPMS valve stem with another color? Post photos if you got an aftermarket valve stem cover or nut to replace it.
I vote for no strut bar if your a 2020 as the engine bay look 1000000x cleaner without one. If you got a 2021 with the tacky ass strut bar, either powder-coat it, or take that crap off...
Very true, I was trying to help the OP save some money. lol But I really doubt BMS will reimburse him for the turbo...... But its always worth a shot.....
I had a buddy back in 2009 that messed up his brand new 335i severely. All kinds of malfunction lights came on. The car was fast tho. It was like 420 whp with just bolt ons..... Back then, it was called "Juice Box...." lol
I think a lower offset wheel in the front would help alittle. Looks great tho!
My +22 in the front with 275 tires have maybe less than a .25" gap to the spring perch to the inner tires. Its a tight squeeze.
Take that jb4 junk off and everything else off and take it back it to Toyota and see if they will warranty you a brand new turbo. And after you get all of it fixed, don't touch the car until the ecu is unlocked and get a proper ecu tune like with Ecutek......
Just keep an eye on your oil level. If your turbo start making weird noises, then it’s definitely time. Don’t want your motor sucking any turbo debris.
Blue smoke = oil. I am willing to be your turbo is on its way out…… ?
Same thing happened to me when my turbo was going out. It will just get worse and worse and the oil will start to burn more…
I was asking Bc I had a friend with an low oil light come on(screen said to add 1 Qt) and she added 1 Qt and affer 1 hours, the same light came on. She then went to the dealership and was told that she was actually 2.5 qts low….. that’s kinda scary if you ask me. Just IMO.
I am just curious on how you know this for sure? Are you a BMW engineer? Just curious….I know there is an low oil pressure light in the dash as well. But how do you know this low oil level indicator doesn’t hurt the motor already?
