That I did. He only mentions to seat the box into the grommets and his looks so fricken easy to put in place.

Hey All: Has anyone installed the Injen evolution intake? The Injen intake box has three pins which are supposed to be seated into the factory grommet locations. I cannot for the life of me get this damn box to sit right. I even tried to test fit the intake box without anything else...

I know this thread is old, but I was wondering if you had trouble getting the intake box seated into the grommets. I cannot for the life of me get the bottom one, by the snorkel, in. The inlet part, which butts up against the “snorkel” is preventing me from lining up the pin with the grommet...

How did you do that!?

Just all in good fun; no offense meant…Tbh I think another hurdle would be the dash itself. It doesn’t look like there would be any room to install a larger screen w/o modifying the actual dash. It appears to curve around and hug the screen.
