An EV sportscar will happen, I just took the context as it being called something other than Supra...
In terms of the ZF8.... I drive the car in sport 100% of the time - however, in my sport config I have the trans set to normal (sport holds 4th at 6-70km/h and it's kind of screaming for just...
Tada said this gen will be the last Supra, as it will be the last petrol-powered car, and a Supra must be petrol powered.
Furthermore, I have 3x manual Supras (all cars, C63 aside, have been MT) and have the A90.
Funnily - I don't miss a manual in it at all. The ZF8 works really well and...
My guess that if there was a manual coming - it wouldn't be in the GRMN. That's the road going version of the GT4 car, and is focused on FAST, not necessarily on purity/6MT fun times
I'd guess there'd be a second edition, or none at all, for the 6MT.
All the safety systems will be calibrated for the stock wheel + tyre size, with a little error.
Changing the profile that much will most likely upset the ECU and potentially throw error codes.
Probably worth looking up if anyone has done similar in a BMW and what their results were.
Thicker oil will increase sytem temperature
higher viscosity = slower flow = more heat transfer = higher temps
thinner oil = better cooling properties/less pressure
thicker oil = more oil pressure/less cooling
as a huristic, you should run the thinnest oil you can (synthetic) to ensure good...
Hey mate, just wondering how the car was with the rear muffler delete pipes on the street? Was it intrusive when you were driving sensibly?
Watching with keen interest as usual
mandrel bent vs mandrel bent, the material has negligible difference.
Ti is often pie cut/lobstered because it's not viable for most shops to bend it - unlike stainless/carbon steel
That said, a well-made lobster/pie cut exhaust will flow largely the same. On an engineering level, yes, there...
Correct, there is no flow difference, but it is substantially lighter and often has a thinner wall section, resulting in a lot raspier note compared to plain carbon steel or stainless steel.
I'm 6.0" and the rear visibility when reversing out isn't great but the fish-eye rear view camera helps
Otherwise, visibility is about the same as an A80 supra.
Exactly. Plus, as we've said time and time again, how many "non sportscar" car companies are bringing out clean sheet sportscars these days, post GFC?
f**k all is who :P
Plus the TT A80 was unaffordable at new, so, it's more like the A80 than before :P
