Uhm, but this really isn't true is it?
A CAI simply needs to pull air from outside the engine compartment. The OEM intake does this with a plastic pipe from behind the headlight to the airbox. Most CAI kits use this or "upgrade" this. A CAI doesn't necessarily have to pull from a huge hole...
Only problem with the spoiler is that you don't get a cool place to set your coffee at the car show. Definitely lose swag points just standing there holding your cup.
You guys are missing the most important distinction between the premium and base rear brakes. Premiums are red. And that's gotta cut 5 feet off the stopping distance and help stop brake fade for at least a couple extra laps on the track.
Not likely. Car makers always do the if they want X then they want Y and Z too. People want Premium then they want the driver assist stuff. So finding one without the other is probably like looking for a unicorn. Chalk it up to cost of ownership and turn it off. Or risk it if you like that...
Bought the premium only because it was what was available at a "friendly" dealership. Gotten to really like some of it. I'd say I got decent value out of those features I really didn't want going into the buying process.
The add ons on the other hand still make me shake my head. Thousand...
Stayed on the sidelines forever.. Installed my boost burito today.
BTW - anyone know what to do about a broken white clip for the sensor on the airbox as well as a white clip that won't go back on the sensor by the throttle body? Just asking for a friend. Mine went on without an issue in...
I came to F1 from Drive to Survive. It was awesome watching Max battle Lewis.
But endless complaining of Mercedes dominance and now the Red Bull dominance left me wondering how competitive is this sport. Then I go back and look at the history of these multi-year champions and how...
Where/how do you guys install a detector like the R3? Do you get the hardwire kit? Is there any unusual Germans being German chicanery one needs to be careful of?
This really is the answer. But to give you general idea, once you tune your car you really should monitor and make sure it's running ok. The tuner has tuned out the tolerance the OEM built in. This involves taking some logs occasionally and looking for things like knock retard (KR). See this...
Yes, definitely not a pick your nose and talk to yourself at the stop light kind of car. And let me guess, people = guys, all guys, no girlfriends, wives, moms, daughters, friends, or anything.
Curious to your experience. Unfriendly business practices, poor craftsmanship/reliability, or failed to provide meaningful performance? Reading the forums, you get a sense that these things really don't perform or they burn oil and die.
