Looks like they had a new version release between July and November. Recall target is S18T-21-7-519 or higher. I waited a good long time to get this done and got a later release but your version should absolutely have CarPlay and moreover, Fullscreen CarPlay
Just got my car back. Everything seems fine. Fullscreen CarPlay and Navigation work fine. Have to recode all by Bimmercode goodies. Pulled my iLEVEL and it's now at S18T-21-11-530. So a pretty late version
You can export your driver profile to a USB fob and read the version in the exported file (listed as istep version), or if you have BimmerCode, it tells you when you connect to your car.
There are a few threads on how to export the driver profile if you search.
Mine is in getting the recall done right now. I plan on pulling the iLEVEL version when I get it back to see what version they loaded. My current version is S18T-19-07-555. Will report.
I have also read folks seeing this initially after the update and having it clear after a startup or two. Is it still there or are you getting proper speed limit info now?
