u said the adapter is in car?
so the CX module is a separate part, and u need the adapter to connect the module to the port under the dashboard? Does the adapter come with the purchase of module? Or do u
Purchase separately?
Modena, thanks, but I’m in st Augistine,I can’t believe u fried the vacuum pump, just because of an update!,any eta on when u get car back? I digress, how do like the module? Any issues? Is it worth the purchase?
Ha ha I should have worded it differently
I’d rather slap a spare on it, then flatbed it
That inflater in trunk will only work on small
Punctures….
Yow!! And now your cars at dealer, awaiting
Parts, with probably no eta on arrival!
I’m in the same boat as u, don’t trust dealer
Nor there techs ( but I still have brakes)
Vacuum pump gets fried?! I didn’t realize that the update PREVENTS that! I might have to reconsider this update?! Damn!
Zrk, interesting video, so if there’s no issue with a 5th sensor, how do I make car read the new sensor ?( I should of mentioned that first, my bad) do I have to take it dealer?, or can I do it myself?
Sounds crazy, but I’m going on a long trip , and need a spare just in case, I digress,
My question is this; in regards to TPMS,
Since the car is already “reading” 4
Sensors, can it read a 5th? (Spare) or
Is car gonna have a clusterf—k and light
Up the dash??
I know this is an old topic, I was hesitating about doing this update
On the brake issue, but was holding off due to supply problems ( if they bricked the Ecu) now hopefully that is
Resolved, so is there any current problems with having Toyota techs
Do this update???
