Yes..cable throttle & hydraulic steering. I miss this so much. No matter how sophisticated electric steering gets it will never be as good as hydraulic steering in terms of feel & driver feedback in my opinion. Wish the Supra had it. The Supra does have a very good steering response however.
Just got the dragy today & decided to mess around with it. Here’s the best I could’ve done. Bone stock. (You know what. I just checked it & got an “Invalid low satellite” report.) So not sure how much that alters the accuracy.

So today I was at the light with another Supra and we both floor it, his car being catless I couldn’t hear anything, as I’m paying attention this his car I look down and I'm riding the damn limiter in 3rd lol. So no it doesn’t shift up for you. (In M mode)
Like razor said, it’s from metal expanding and contracting. The b58 runs hot and everything is cooling down after driving hard. I get metal ticking sound all the time after driving. Especially underneath the car.
