911s are very expensive to maintain (in my experience)...
Around here, there are way to many running around...everybody has one...just doesn't seem that special..
I had an 86 Carrera for about 10yrs but finding a good local tech at a fair price was pretty tough...

Just a heads up...if you have Toyota do the calibration expect to pay about $600...
I just got it done today at the dealership and spent out $580...
Luckily my insurance reimburses me the cost?...

I was told by the person that did mine, the glass was only about $600 retail...not overly expensive...
You don't get free glass replacement with full coverage insurance?
If I had to do it again I'd probably just go the safelite route...just for the convenience...

But as a business owner(pool contractor)if you sell at or near cost you typically won't stay in business long...

As much as I hate going to my dealership it seems I may be lucky in the fact that my tech seems to know what he's doing...
I just got the recall done last week or something...it only took 1.5hrs..
I was very happy with that..
We have 3 supra techs at my local place and only 1 has ever touched...
Be careful with drier sheets...they are abrasive..they'll put fine scratches in your clear coat...hard to see on white but they're there...
Just like magic eraser.. don't ever use on a painted surface...

Silencers can preinstalled on the fronts...but nothing for the backs..
I'm not even sure if they'll work to get rid of the noise...
