Funny you mention this. I was sitting in the garage getting my daily quarantine sun and staring at this "feature". I started thinking the same as you about all the water this would trap. I couldn't remember it being a problem the one and only time I've washed the car though. I was going to use...
That blows.Agreed that this will look like hell in no time. I think I read in the manual that this could happen and is "normal". What I don't understand is why they would intentionally design the taillights to "breath". The headlights don't apparently have this "breathing" design and appear to...
The manual even sates that you should get an OEM windshield because there's some sort of laminate in the windshield that works with the HUD so it displays properly. Who know's if that's true or not or just a play to get your money.
Does anyone know how to adjust the sensitivity of the alarm? Yesterday I was standing beside the car and wound up giving the tire a slight double tap kick with my toe which set the alarm off. I was surprised since it was a very slight kick. I looked through the manual but couldn't find anything...
Yeah, I was wondering that too. The only track that's near me is in Limerock in early April so I know that's going to be out. My car isn't even broken in yet and I won't track it like that.
At least with the NASA membership you can get in on any of the other events for the year, they just won't...
Wow, does that mean you have to fake out the TCU to think that it's not getting the huge torque it's actually getting by scaling down the reported number or something?
Maybe try an old windshield wiper trimmed down to size. Slap some double sided tape on the bottom and that may be enough to get you by until things get back to normal.
Just wondering if folks here bother to double check an OTS tune to make sure their car is agreeing with it, that's all. In my Subaru days you'd occasionally hear of someone running an OTS tune who had slight issues that weren't apparent until it was data-logged; ie, pulled timing, other.
I had...
HA, Ha,ha. that's hilarious. I'm surprised the DMV let that get through. there are some good plates in here.
On a side note ; my Perrin license plate relocation bracket won't thread into the tow bar up front. Tolerances are just a tiny bit too tight to work. Waiting on a replacement from Perrin.
I checked my car after reading this and i DO have a warning triangle in the trunk. I'd check with you dealer and ask where it is. it's actually pretty nice and I hope to never need to use it.
