They sold 1,477 units in just 70 days. Either way 2019 is a very short calendar year. We sh'all see.
Just one article were the 718 is mush up with a list of other cars vs monthly negative coverage of the Zupra. ;)
I'm not sure where you found those numbers, but when looking at VW press press they do not differentiate 718 Caymans and Boxsters. Their sales chat has it as "ALL 718". According to A70 Toyota is projecting around 4k-5k Supras for the remainder of the year. And if we lump Z4 sales with Supras...
I think it's because they didn't use any sale numbers. If we're just looking at sale figures than the Supra is doing pretty well. At the end of the year they may sell as much Supras as Z4s despite BMW having a 4 month head start advantage.
It's also worth nothing that Supra sales aren't that...
I would say hes not wrong about mark ups, but he didn't even bother to look up sales numbers. It only takes a minute to Google Toyota's press release.

You guys do know that the Supra is priced at €62.900 in Germany or roughly $69k USD. Personally I would gladly take the savings and forgo the gimmick "gifts".
