It's not a deal breaker for me, but the ones provided by BMW do look a little generic. I think Toyota just cheapen out, but they could have at least looked in their own parts bin. imo, the ones from the 86, Camry, hell even the new Corolla looks more sporty.

I think it's probably because we all already knew what they look like, but this is the first official photo from Toyota showing the same mirrors as the Z4. Finally putting to rest the debate whether they were just place holders or the final product.

The overall shape is similar, but the styling of the cap is obviously different.

Idk about that. Others have hinted that Toyota will save that for the GRMN/TRD version. I'm betting it's just the more powerful B58 also found in the US spec Z4, which is also 382hp.

Is the only difference between the track and base version just an extra 52hp? If so, I'll just get the base car and save $9k.

Good find! Maybe its just the quality of the photo, but does anyone else think the mirrors look more round vs the ones on the prototype cars?

Probably, A70 did say something about $40k for the 4 cyl.
