I think Toyota should just put the SF-R into production with Subaru as a 2nd gen 86/BRZ replacement, but slap on the Celica nameplate.
I would also love to see the return of the MR-2! Toyota could partner up with Honda to build the baby NSX, aka S2000 replacement. A win win for both Honda and...
@A70TTR, the second photo in OP looks like its just plain black. So I'm assuming the CF is not standard and will be an option or only available on specific trims/packages?
It sounds like the next Z4 will cost more. If the US Z4 is anything to go by, then the US Supra should be closer to 400hp as well. Toyota just needs to price it well.

AutoGuide says the US Z4 does 0-60 in 4.2 seconds.

MT was the only ones that got to see the FT-1 months before the unveiling. So maybe Toyota also give them special access again and or more time with the prototype?
@A70TTR, why are some of these sites saying straight six only and are not certain about the 4 cyl? Has it been dropped from the production plan entirely or for just certain markets?
Here is something interesting. Work on the SC430 also started in 1997. I'm betting if they had gone though with it that it would have been a reskin SC. The 3.5 V6 as the base model and the 4.3 V8 as the top dog.
