This one made me think of a similar question. Will this platform also underpin a Z3/86 and Z1/SF-R as some have speculated?

1. I'm wondering if there were any challenges when working with the Germans? Did both companies have similar goals, or where they worlds apart and had to meet in the middle? 2. Were there any delays in the joint venture like there was in the case of the 86 & BRZ?

If a manual isn't going to be offered, then will Toyota at least entertain the idea of a DCT?

That looks nice and I hope that will be the case, but the spy shots look like it was an after thought. Like someone decided at the last minute to just put on a fake panel on the door to make it look similar to the FT1.

The FT-86 G sport concept has it on the quarter panel itself, but Idk if there is enough room on the prototype for a similar design. :dunno:
