Keeping in mind, they're 17" wheels and the rotors completely fill the wheel space, meaning they're between 330-350mm in diameter. Not small by any means
The side profile on this thing is very nice. The front looks awkward but I'm sure once the camo is stripped off it will look good
Typically bmw have decent wheel fitment too, so hopefully Toyota don't fuck that up.
Imagine it with a nice wide set of 18s and meaty tyres. Will look very tough.
yeah, you could so add another ABS module on the clutch system. pressure the system, disengage release bearing, done.
maybe this was why toyota did that front drive transmission that shifts itself back to neutral.... makes perfect sense.
PUT THE SAME SYSTEM IN THE A90 YOU MUTTS
It can't hurt. If there is a system that can be retrofitted from the BMW, then all they need is the business case.
Unless the ZF8 is savage, with crisp response and angry downshifts, an auto-only A90 will mean it won't feature in my driveway....
Yeah, kinda doesn't make sense that BMW can offer a manual in the same platform, unless the whole electronic systems on the vehicles are propriety, but that doesn't make sense from a cost perspective...
I guess we just pray to Oprah "you get a manual trans! you get a manual trans! YOU ALL GET...
then logically, a GRMN A90 would sit, in terms of benchmarks, between the AMG GTR/GT3 RS/hypothetical TT LC (7:10ish) and a 7:40 (cayman S) ring time I guess....
2JZGE (non turbo) was 168kW. 1/4 mile in mid-low 14s
2JZGTE (turbo) was ~240kW. 1/4 mile in mid-low 13s
That said... My vvti with an exhaust (and therefore a bit of boost creep) made 233rwkW (aussie dynos also read lower than US ones) so I think the 240kW was very conservative.
I hope it's an 8 cylinder turbo toyota engine :P
will there be any comparison between the GRMN A90 and said "hypothetical LC"? is there any brand cannibalisation?
SZ - N/A, 5 speed or auto, small brakes, std suspension, std seats, open diff
SZ-R - N/A, 6-speed, big brakes, bilstein suspension, recaros, LSD
RZ - TT, 6 speed, big brakes, bilstein, recaros, LSD
Edit:
RZ-S was an RZ but brakes, bilstein and seats were optional
GZ was a TT, leather, auto...
