I'd never leave ppf in the middle like that....
With that if you have a steamer heat gun, perhaps hold it for few seconds, get a soap water try to push it down. If that fails, do a super fine cut and try like that.
But best course of action is to wait for tomorrow as they should stand behind...
I hear you, but what are the chances that this experience taught him anything. Usually people who do this kinda thing don't even see anything wrong with their behavior to begin with, even if you specifically told them so....
In the end, don't know how much money is worth to you, but you gained...
I'm going to bed now it's 3am, but some more things to worry about for you :)
How will you wash the car? You can say bye bye to all this easily by going to $5 car wash. Either find a really good touchless or do it at home with proper techniques and tools...
Can't respond for all, but yes go get PPF before you regret it, if not for the whole thing, at least the front bumper!
At this point, I'm like even considering PPF on the windscreen lol.
I've PPF on the headlights as well.
After many talks over chat and finally calls, I've an appointment at Safelite location with confirmed request for OEM replacement part.
$50 deductible $90.67 OEM price difference thru Geico..
I'm told to expect part on October 4th..
What's that brand that I keep seeing on IG. Scrape guard or something.
Haven't done it myself but it's worth not having to worry about unforeseen bumper scratches...
Thanks man! To trust Safelite with calibration or not... I'll call up my dealer and see if they can even do it and what the cost would be..
Hope it goes smoothly for you man! Fingers crossed.
Damn that GV70 looks real nice. Still can't convince myself to get Hyundai/Kia/Genesis despite Genesis making really great looking cars.. Have 0 idea on performance or reliability.
Well, I may be parting with the Supra soon.. Changes in life causing me to get slightly more sensible options. At...
@freeform911 I blame you for this:
On the highway. Absolutely no one in front of me, doing ~80mph, I hear a faint ding noise and the biggest crack I've ever experienced!
Mind you that it starts from the top of the glass. I hate Michigan. Why the fuck are there so many stones on the highway...
My opinion on rattles is to try and find the source and solution yourself, if you're not afraid of removing some panels and clips/screws.
You have identified the source to a point and are able to recreate and resolve it temporarily as well, not sure what dealer will do, who knows, I may be...
Pressure wash more than likely may push them into the fins, allowing less air thru and possibly damaging the fins along the way if directly applied. Not easy to do it at an angle unless you remove things.
Compressed air on an angle would be better imho. There are also chemicals for it bug...
Cars with 10+ stickers and vinyl accents that are somewhat tastefully put together in an I'm heavily tuned manner, I'm ok with.
I'd never do it. I even hate the "next oil change" sticker and hated a sticker I had to put on, back in college to get into the paid parking lot free.
