yeah.... doesn't feel accurate. Celica was meant to be affordable, stylish fun.... if anything, the GT86 is a true celica successor.... Celica Supra would be ok though, not that I am biased or anything.

Thanks mate, so a little summation for my own understanding: Spec A - 1300ish kg, 4cyl Spec B - 1300ish kg, 6 cyl, 340hp, much faster than Z4 and about same as Cayman GT4 / Cayman GTS Spec B GRMN - 1220ish kg, 6 cyl, 385+hp..... :o Jesus... the high power low weight one will be a monster...

So it's not the GRMN spec car that's 10s faster than Z4, but the standard "340hp 2900lbs" car???? If so... far out GRMN = spec B? 385+ hp? Standard = spec A (340hp)? Or would a GRMN spec sit higher than B?

heheh i was just being a pest. but yes... certainly throws uncertainty to the rest of the article. let's not forget that the A70 tipped the scales at nearly 1700kg at one point :O porky thing. if the SPX is in the 1400kg realm, that's not bad given the safety systems in new cars.
