yeah.... doesn't feel accurate. Celica was meant to be affordable, stylish fun.... if anything, the GT86 is a true celica successor.... Celica Supra would be ok though, not that I am biased or anything.
Cheers mate, keeps me pretty broke. The 204 is a fantastic car and the E63 is a weapon!
Did you dad notice if there was a retractable wing there, or just couldn't see one?
Thanks for signing up mate. Between the original rendering, the Michael papas one and the grey one, it sounds promising.
Can you ask your dad if he noticed anything regarding a rear wing, exhaust tips or big wide hips?
Did it look aggressive like the Toyota c-hr or smooth and flows like a gt86?
Well that's it... knowing it's focus is handling and pure speed, i may be tempted to sell the AMG for one.... if it was just a rebadged BMW M2, definitely not.
Thanks mate, so a little summation for my own understanding:
Spec A - 1300ish kg, 4cyl
Spec B - 1300ish kg, 6 cyl, 340hp, much faster than Z4 and about same as Cayman GT4 / Cayman GTS
Spec B GRMN - 1220ish kg, 6 cyl, 385+hp..... :o
Jesus... the high power low weight one will be a monster...
So it's not the GRMN spec car that's 10s faster than Z4, but the standard "340hp 2900lbs" car????
If so... far out
GRMN = spec B? 385+ hp?
Standard = spec A (340hp)?
Or would a GRMN spec sit higher than B?
I agree. Like good movie series, they should leave the Supra legacy to the history books now.
Imho, from the info, this car will be a better sports car than the supra and create it's own new chapter, so fingers crossed it gets its own name.
I hope they call it the RZ. Nice homage to the...
heheh i was just being a pest. but yes... certainly throws uncertainty to the rest of the article.
let's not forget that the A70 tipped the scales at nearly 1700kg at one point :O porky thing. if the SPX is in the 1400kg realm, that's not bad given the safety systems in new cars.
