We get it man, you hate progress. You probably sit on a leather seat smoking cigars and talk about the "good old days" on weekends drinking the same beer you drank in college and talk down to people that drink micro "woke" beers while grumbling about "Soy boys" that have hair slightly longer...
This thread went a little dormant because winter happened. I can now see spring peeking through so should have more timely updates soon!
For now, my DIY flex fuel kit is confirmed working with BM3 without issue:
You don't need jack pads. The blocks that come with the quickjack fit perfectly under the OEM jack areas. I've lifted my supra a ton with zero damage.
You will need wood or something to at least get the front up enough to get the quickjack under the car. I am only lowered .5 and I have to drive...
No pedal/pedal going to the floor is boiled fluid/air in the lines. If it was pads you would feel pressure but it would feel like wood and not stopping.
Plenty of people using OEM rotors with no issues, myself included.
Yea, I quoted the wrong person at first, then edited. ;)
1000% agree with your above statement. One thing to note in that list is the GR Yaris. It's actually not based on the Econo Yaris at all. It's a full one off chassis that doesn't share anything with the normal Yaris.
You could say the same thing about the Mitsubishi Evolutions and they have more than proven their worth over a "base lancer".
This whole snotty speak is really boring, but not surprising coming from you.
The wear on studs are from repeated torquing of the nuts. So if you aren’t taking the wheels off much during a year then they would last longer than someone swapping wheels once or twice a month for track days.
