I agree with all of above. I have a mt and love it. You are not going to change an ignorant person’s perspective so don’t try. Buy what you want and enjoy the heck out of it. A person who can’t drive a manual will always say an automatic is better and faster. Buy, drive and enjoy
This will not fit on a stock wheel. He will need to get wider wheel, but he can get 285 cup 2’s and that is most likely the best tire with the stock wheel. Good luck.
Oreobbq said it best, the Supra is less practical, but more of a sports car. I am also a mustang fan, and always will be, but I purchased my manual Supra last year and live it. I really wanted a 2020 gt350 but did not pull the trigger, but truly happy with the Supra.
