An ECU performance flash would be so easy for Toyota to distribute. And the downpipe is so easy to improve, yet Toyota left it just as it came from the Werke. If those were offered as GR/TRD factory bits, I'd be happy to have and pay for them. I just don't see them doing this as a free offer.
For all we know, that one just ran out of gas. ;) This Supra revving issue will turn out to be a software/hardware communication failure. Something idiotic like the hatch latch is loose, so it signals another module not to rev. Toyota & BMW have to get off their collective spotty behinds, and...
On two different pages, CD shows the Supra 3.0 with a faster 2:59.3 lap time than the Jaguar F-type R's 2:59.5, but place the Supra just under the Jag in the ranking-by-lap time. I must be misunderstanding their rationale. Still, it's really good to see. lightning-lap-2021
I just realized the app used to show my current mileage & fuel level a month ago... now it doesn't. Also the app used to show my car uncovered... now it's covered.
Supraconnect.ca shows the car uncovered and correct color (white), but it doesn't show fuel level or current mileage either. I...
Within a minute, you know which way this is going. Did he just buy shares in Alpine? ;) It's a fun review of the A110, which is aimed at a completely different market than the Supra... even allowing for the 2L "Euro" version. That A110 is like a kitchen sink with a Rotax motor. :drive:
I still cringe at an electric Hummer or what Ford has named a Mustang, so I hope they're seriously amazing. Because the industry is changing, even though my latest vote-by-purchase was for the obnoxiously gas-burbling Supra
GM Will Only Sell Zero-Emission Vehicles by 2035
I'm no climate change denier or flat earther, but losing great gas-engine sounds and burbling exhausts will break my heart.
What about the new flat plane Corvette? The Cadillac Blackwings? Are they going to be three-year models?
I knew it...
Having owned a platinum silver '98 5.9 Limited GC, a bright silver metallic 2011 GC, and currently a 2018 GC in granite, I find the granite paint doesn't have any sort of 'pop' to it in sunlight.
It does a great job of hiding extended periods between washes though. ;)
Very cool use of the chassis & A90 body. Although, "A set of carbon-kevlar doors alone will set you back $2,725 (€2,240). The rear fenders will cost you another $1,192 (€980)" sounds less expensive than actual Toyota/BMW factory parts haha.

It may be a significant failure in your diff. Crossing my fingers for you that it's just a bad solenoid.
It will be interesting to see how the Supra evolves. Now Ford has discontinued the GT350 and GT350R; maybe tired of the flat-plane engine failures, but more likely to insert the Mach 1 into the Mustang line. Shelby GT350R Leaves a Lasting Impression
