Short answer is no. I deleted my sensors because they force on all nannies if pressure is too low. i start off pretty low before first session.
I am used to the pop warnings now
i would remove the tape from the actual sensors. I never had to do this, but i would hate to have the brakes...
How much power does the license plate frame add? It is listed as a mod. What skill level would you say this is? Going to try and tackle this one Saturday.
;) all in good fun....
In minority...
My Supra is only a track toy. Rarely sees the street
But I put on stickers of products and people I use
They come off pretty easy.
Most here would die- but my front end is pretty nicked up from debris and bits of rubber as I run down slower cars ;)
Can’t comment on the math. But even if e85 is cooler, you are burning more of it and creating more hp. Would think( and in my case) engine is even hotter w another 100 hp
Big difference. A custom tune "should" have several revisions and tweeks along the path to final tune. And then down the line you may want to change something because your style of driving or how you race has changed. Each time you would have to mail them your ECU
Glad someone is making...
If someone can send me some links of what to buy and monitor I’m happy to spend some $ and time mounting a couple in and around turbo and shield. I track several times a month. Plenty of hit hard runs to gather data.
Will take some and DM you. With this crowd of engineers ;). I don’t need 20
Opinions of why and how it doesn’t work. Tracked for awhile and have done similar mods in other bmw platforms
All I can say it has worked for me
I have a duct aimed at that area and on the track- only place I care about performance- as long as I am moving it will blow across the shield.
So far 3 or 4 track day’s with shield. Temps are fine and I am also pushing more boost which has increased heat Have been happy with the...
Believe me every bit helps on the track. For those that don’t track I don’t see the need. Superfluous
I am sure next season I will adding the upgraded radiators too.
LOL, why am i being labeled a "rotten apple" ?
I understand physics and data, i only offered an interesting observation. Not making any claims or facts.
I CAN verify with data that Versus data is really accurate so far with their products.
Edit and PS
i DO have added airflow to that area on...
The shield holds in the radiant heat so it does NOT get sucked back in. It is the actually turbo housing itself that is hotter.
This is why i am not making any claims or presenting anything other than MY observations.
