I have the 6 port shield. works as advertised. My IAT are running about 5 deg cooler across the board.

Possibly, everyone's climate is different. 30ish does great for first session or two. But i do end having to lower again at least once.
Check pressure and temps after each session.
You should be able to feel it get "greasy" when it beach balls. I can guess the pressure now fairly accurate...
Correct. The b58 does a really good job of taking care of that oil in combustion.
No one has ever caught oil. All the big power tuners including mine don’t use them. Waste of money. If it makes you feel better by all means. It’s your dough
