That helps. Thanks @Todday1 ! I’ll let my PPF guy know. My new one goes in today. Track this weekend (I’ll stay further back from the Cup cars) then I’ll try to stay off track until I get her filmed.
Mine rubbed with and w/out spacers. But you are correct, with too much overhang, it’s worse. The tire cuts into the wheel well. Which happens to be our hood.
This may not happen to you on a stock setup ?. I am running a 275/35-18 square setup. Which put me too low at track speeds. Again, in...
I knew it! Thanks brother ??
How long do you drive with those hairlines? I realize you’re not telling me to do so. Just curious. I was going to have someone come out and replace it tomorrow. But won’t be able to do the UV protectant film until after Sebring this weekend… Suppose I could wait
The OEM springs provided a height that won’t cause rub on track. The Ohlins are way stiffer. Or at least you can adjust (dial in) the stiffness to your liking.

This exactly. The Ohlins were night and day...
I only have a JB4 custom piggyback tune for 93 octane and it’s great! Jesse can dial up or down the power to your desire. With the stock tires, there’s very little grip. But I’d rather have the power and modulate the pedal to desired effect ?
I always wondered how some peeps always had a saying below their post, lol. So I found the “signature” option and added a few of my favs and a disclaimer.
Recommendation on which ones to remove or keep?
A few other worthy contenders:
1) *disclaimer - this post is all in good fun
2) no puppies...
I remember when it was practically impossible to pass Schumacher or any driver clearly in the lead. Coming back and watching F1 now, I like that every team and driver has the ability to maximize this technical advantage and we get to see more passing. Not attacking anyone (*today’s modern...
So anyone getting more cracked windshields than usual? I’ve found running in the red group, HPDE 4 or the no point by better drivers & cars groups, when I’m following closely to the race cars, I’m getting peppered. I didn’t think it’d crack my windshield (hindsight is 20/20) and stayed with a...
That’s sick and hilariously simple at the same time. What a brilliant idea! I bought two kinds for this weekend. Thanks again. Unfortunately really like my stock seats for daily driving. This should tide me over a little bit longer before going to an all out race seat ?.
After I set the tire...
You are brilliant as usual! Thanks ??
So pull the one circled 7.5 and what’s the other big circle for? And you pointed to that top missing fuse that says 200 or something in the pic? Thanks Thrax!!
Crazy question ?‍♂️ I have the AWE track exhaust. Do I need to pull any fuse? I don’t want any extra amplified sound coming from the speakers or anything like that. It’s loud enough ? Thanks y’all
Great questions! From my short time watching, Max, Alonzo, Hamilton & Russel, appear to be just a pinch more consistent than the rest of the pack. Max & Alonzo seem to be the most headstrong & bounce back better mentally from team or their own errors. Great to see Alonzo with a better team where...
Glad y’all are over the Covid thing at least. I met a really cool Australian racer that’s has a home over here and tracking for fun. He was saying it was really tough to visit his mom. Great to see you guys back on track!
It’s a shame because Virginia is such a pretty State and rich in history! The no income tax states are really getting a lot of population influx. Hence looking at a 2nd home in TN over NC.
Didn’t realize cars could be taxed after the sale. Balancing the state budget is huge and not carrying a...
I’m still on my track tires (Maxxis Victra RC-1), square setup until it gets too hot to track down here. The grip is insane! And surprisingly affordable :)
Noticed two cracks in my windshield on my way to work. Not Again ? I’ll definitely consider UV tint this go round/ replacement for extra...
Sorry this happened to you! Hopefully not a head gasket ? I haven’t had this with the Supra but…. Many other cars I’ve owned have spewed coolant due to a faulty cap. I’ve replaced the cap myself and other times took the car to the dealer & ended up with them replacing the whole damn reservoir...
